issues and compatibility
Some Microsoft Windows 95, 98, and ME computers exhibit an issue with installers where the installer will fail during or after install with illegal operations or access violations. We have tested our product on these platforms and have not experienced any problems. However, further research has shown that the systems which exhibit these issues also have a history of other similar problems during normal operation of software. Microsoft Corporation has discontinued support of these platforms. Therefore, we cannot provide support on systems which operate on Microsoft Windows 95, 98, and ME. We can offer the following possible resolutions however:
1. Reboot the machine, close down any running and background applications and try the installation again.
2. Disable any virus scanners or system monitor program running during the install process.
3. Re-install the operating system and applications. This seems to resolve almost all issues a majority of the time.
4. Upgrade your hardware
5. Upgrade your operating system to Microsoft Windows 2000 or Microsoft Windows XP Professional. - System
